Nemea
Typical provincial town, 41 km southwest of Corinth, near the border of Corinth and Argolis, Nemea is surrounded by fertile plains – thanks to the river Asopos. Two reasons bring you here; the age-long local tradition in viniculture and winemaking and the important archaeological site, located outside the village of Ancient Nemea. If you are wine lovers, make a stop at the wineries of the area so as to see up close the winemaking process. Moreover, there is the interesting route that takes you from Nemea to Kastania, in the mountains of Corinth, through the villages Psari, Aidonia and Petri.
